On Friday David and I tagged along on a big family shopping outing. We all spent the lengthy car ride chatting and listening to the radio. We heard Pink Floyd and a genre of music called psychobilly.
Our first stop of the day was a big media shop where we happened upon a graphic novel of our favorite TV series.
Then we pressed on to Ikea
where we tested sofas, ate ice cream cones and oddly felt as if we could have been in any Ikea store in the United States.
After several other stops for socks, toasters and other essentials we made a final stop at the grocery store, where we found some of our favorite snacks
and several intriguing new options.
Then we came home
and counted the chocolate bars we had acquired throughout the day.
What a successful trip!
